Watch two and a half men online
I’d watch any episode of Two and a Half Men a million times. The show is absolutely wicked! It is one of the funniest shows that have been on the air and in my world; it certainly does beat The Simpsons and even Friends. Let me get straight to the point.
The show revolves around the life of Charlie, who is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He is a crazy guy and a womanizer to the core. HE is the perfect definition of a playboy. His life changes when his uptight brother, who is incidentally facing a divorce, comes to live with him. And his son tags along too. Alan, Charlie’s brother and Jake, Alan’s son soon get to know Charlie well and Charlie reciprocates the warm feelings. He gets attached to Jake and a strong relationship develops.
Strongly intertwined in this story is never ending, nerve-wrecking comedy that does just not stop. Alan tries desperately to get back with his wife, Judith and so on and so forth. The show is right at the top as one of the best sitcoms, not only in this season but in the all-time list. It has survived several seasons, though not even close to Friends’ 10 seasons, but it certainly does show potential.
The show’s idea of having no adult minded characters on the show was probably a bad decision. The show, though it is really hilarious, is a bit far-fetched considering the fact that none of the three leads seem to bother about anything in life. Let alone the kid, even the real adults seem too good to be true. This might not be the best way to start off with show, especially when the first episodes can really make or break the show. Despite the several flaws that can be singled out, the show does deliver.
One of my favorite episodes is “Does This Smell Funny to you?” I am not very sure about which season it belongs to, but given a chance, do not miss it. The show has consistently had high viewership ratings and considering the cast and the story, it is hardly surprising.
The show won the People’s Choice award for the best new comedy series and that in itself should speak volumes about the show and its creators. The show is definitely capable of bagging many more awards and will certainly live up to all the hype that has been created around it. The best season so far has to be the third season. I’ve never seen anything like that before. The one thing that the show does lack is diversity. The show maintains a rigorous path and does not stray one bit, which makes it a bit dull to watch at times. Variety and freshness are the need of the hour and if this is taken care of, then there’s nothing much left to talk about. Stellar cast, amazing story, almost flawless execution. The perfect recipe for a successful TV show.
