Megavideo Hack to watch full Megavideo Videos for free
By
Mega Video has converted to a pay site, where in order to enjoy full use of the site would require a monthly subscription fee, and without paying this fee, you would only be allowed around 78 minutes of time before you would be cut off and have to wait 2 HOURS to be able to view more material on the site (which means if a movies 85 minutes long, your gonna miss the end by a few minutes minus credits) that sucks!
Follow these simple steps, and you will have full access to Mega Video …. enjoy the movies!….
1. Choose a MegaVideo Movie or Show to watch, Choose Multiple if you like.
2. Start the video or videos and pause them once they start to Buffer.
3. Wait until Video or Videos reach 100% Buffered.
4. When finished buffering go to File on Your Browser Menu Bar and go down and choose Work Offline.
5. Now You can Watch all the Movie or Movies you Have 100% Buffered.
6. Remember to go back and deselect Work Offline when you are ready for another Movie or want to Browse the Web again.”
For mac users Safari has no work offline so use Firefox !

Clear your cookies before buffering the movies.
January 12th, 2009 at 6:53 pm
If I was going to pay to watch a movie I would have gone to the theaters.
Screw megaupload they ruined Christmas!
January 17th, 2009 at 11:13 pm
This is a loose choice of the term “Hack” more a simplistic hot fix.
MegaVideo are now pairing IP Addresses to video length watched, The simple way to work around this is to just disconnect from the net, Reconnect as long as you don’t own a Static IP Address you’re ISP will most likely give you a new IP Address on reconnection.
Reload the Page, Skip back to where you were in the video, Alternatively Proxy hopping would likely do the same but good luck streaming through a proxy.
March 5th, 2009 at 12:22 am
mac users can disconnect their hardwire internet or turn off their airports instead of working offline, havent tried it yet but its a good idea
April 16th, 2009 at 1:54 pm
With or without cookies its not working me.
I deleted the cookies but it stoped. Do you have any other idea?
April 21st, 2009 at 12:51 pm
didn’t work for me too.. i know this solution from before but it does not work … please give us a nice trick so we can watch full on fcking megavideo……..sorry for using bad word……………
May 15th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
After u let it buffer 100% You have to go to tools then internet options. go to privacy and block all cookies. Then work offline. it will still pop up with the timer just close the window. get back online, click the link again and voila. skip to where u were. its an anoyance but its 2 mins to do this or 45 min wait.
May 16th, 2009 at 2:22 am
Do what I do and watch other sites instead of crappy megavideo. Supernovatube works just awesome.
May 20th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
Ok umm…. I tried that site you wrote and doesn’t have any of the shows on this onee so ya..doesn’t workkk
May 20th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
wouldnt it make more sense just to wait the time it tells you to wait
cuz waiting for a 30 min vid to buff probly takes about 20 mins and your waiting 20 mins for every video wouldnt it make more sense to watch 2 and half 30 min vids then wait the 50 mins? unless of corse your watching a bootleg movie from the cinema in wich case SHAME ON YOU STEALING MOVIES IS A CRIME ITS JUST LIKE ROBING THE ELDERLY!!!!!! [boondocks joke lmao]
May 21st, 2009 at 6:55 pm
Some really usefull information here if you pay attention, thanks
May 25th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
So stupid to have to pay again to watch a movie that I saw at a movie theatre, I understand website upkeep, but that can’t cost nothing but someones time, internet is lame anymore, sad as I like to play MMORPGs, but that ’s about all I do as I am not a myspace/facebook narsacist. I will be getting rid of I-Net at the end of the month, sad, internet used to be good in the old days fo napster.

Try this instead, watch until you get the error, then
1. go to C: (or your partition you have windows on)
2. documents and setting
3. “Your Username”
4. Application data (you must be able to see hidden folders)
4.1. To see hidden files, click tools > folder options > view and
then click “Show hidden files and folders”
5. In application data, choose Macromedia, then Flashplayer
6. Go into #Shared Objects
7. Click the first map (the name is just random, like 3RBZDL3X) and
8. In there look for the map ” wwwstatic.megavideo.com ”
8.1. If its not there, check the next map in #Shared Objects
9. Delete that folder
10. Refresh the megavideo page and continue watching.
P.S. Watch out, only remove that map because all other maps MIGHT contain important information, like passwords or savegames.
Also, if someone deleted the history in the browser, you can still
see alot of sites he or she has been to in this map.
August 4th, 2009 at 8:25 am
When i said error in my previous post, i ment the screen that said u have watched 72 minutes and have to wait alot to watch again

August 6th, 2009 at 6:14 am
oww..and bdw..this aint a hack ..its kind of like a hint..XD
August 14th, 2009 at 3:10 pm
hi all
to wait until the video buffer and work offline is just NOT WORKING !!! if u r just smart enough u will notice that after 72 minutes of bufferin (not playin) , the vieo shows that the bufferin is complete even the video is 2 hours longht. si even if u delete cookies , go offline … the video will still stop at 72 min because it didnt buffer after that time !! so dont waste ur time .
the only way is to change ur IP address by deleting the cookies and turning off ur router for 2 minutes . Or simply use a IP address generetor
Regards
August 16th, 2009 at 3:58 am
Ok, If that never worked, I have onw for ya!!! It wont totally get rid of the 54 min wait, but it will help. All you do is refresh the page. thats it. Then it will reduce the time. One time it brought it down to 2 mins. Another time was 50 mins. But it always help!!!
August 17th, 2009 at 5:53 pm
It used to worked for me, but since the summer started, working offline doesn’t let me watch more than 72 mins. I don’t know if they changed something at megavideo…
August 22nd, 2009 at 11:48 am
for me it didnt work but wat i did was just turned off my router and turned it back on and then refreshed the page and picked up where i was > < waiting for my internet to reconnect kinda sucks but eh
August 30th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
So, is there a consensus yet on any technique that works?
September 9th, 2009 at 3:37 am
The tip Revaivel gave worked for me (I have Vista).
Just delete that folder and you’ll be able to watch again without having to wait
September 23rd, 2009 at 4:50 am
none of these things have worked, working offline, deleting the file, and turning off the router, none have worked.
September 25th, 2009 at 10:20 am
Lol.. all that messing around! Here, just go paste the link into this site!
http://megastreaming.org/
September 28th, 2009 at 12:33 am
i didnt even watch 72 minutes of megavideo & that stupid thing popped up i hate this thing!
October 4th, 2009 at 10:41 pm
testt
October 8th, 2009 at 2:43 am
None of the above works, even megastreaming.org phail’d, saying the video was removed when it clearly IS NOT. I expect the router/proxy deals to work, IF, you don’t have a static IP… which I do. So all I can do is hope someone gets pissed off enough give ‘em a good DDoS attack.
October 9th, 2009 at 10:38 pm
try megaallday.com
October 11th, 2009 at 1:09 am
the megaallday.com is the most practical and user-friendly way to circumvent the megavideo 54 min wait issue. It works great!!!
October 11th, 2009 at 1:10 am
you might have to wait 15 min, but that’s better than 54 min….
October 16th, 2009 at 10:05 am
thats the difficult way
the easy way is to reset your router (turn off for 5 secs and back on) when you get the annoying 72 message
this normally re-assigns a new ip address to your router by your isp.
when router indicates it is online – (usually a static light will be on somewhere on the router besides the power light)
refresh the page you are on and you can continue watching but you will need to forward the video to the position where it cut off
i wonder megavideo will ever attempt to secure this ‘hack’
October 19th, 2009 at 10:34 am
Hey, ive found a great hack. Lyke.co.cc just removes the time limit. works ggreat
October 22nd, 2009 at 1:08 am
fuck megavideo!
October 26th, 2009 at 11:55 pm
It works… it will still come up with the message but if u set computer to online you dont have to wait to watch… The limit is built in when loading. SO hence it will come up in offline mode, but dont acutally have to wait the time it says.
November 1st, 2009 at 11:27 pm
NONE of those work nore megaallday nor the lyke pron crap
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:42 pm
So can anyone tell me who acctually have tried, What Do work(that you have tryed since atleast 20th Octobre) reason for this date is cause they changed the posibility for these things sometime around that date i’ve read.
November 10th, 2009 at 5:30 pm
is there one more way if you have DSL and dont have static ip restart your router. Now you have new ip. refresh megavideo page watch the end.
(sorry for english)
November 16th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
i hate this thing! watched 72 minutes !! cant help me???
November 29th, 2009 at 7:04 pm
google illimitux
December 4th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
I’m going to get my auntie to try watch this program she really wants to watch. I’m going to put her onto a proxy server, because doesn’t Megavideo work by using your i.p address?
Don’t know if it will work, but if it does I will post back here.
December 7th, 2009 at 1:56 am
OK….I have tried everything…deleted the map file, deleted the cookies/history and it did not work. I have unplugged my router for 15 minutes and that did not work. I have gone to the other sites stated before and nothing works. I went to CBS and watched some shows there, over 2 hours, to wait the time out. I come back and I am still locked out. Nothing works…are there anymore suggestions…is there someone else we can send a complaint to….I have waited my time and it still doesn’t work…please help..
December 13th, 2009 at 11:23 pm
Restarting the modem does work. I had the 72 mins screen showing, I restarted the modem, and refreshed the megavideo page and voila!
December 24th, 2009 at 3:28 am
It doesn’t work for me either. Seems that the Megavideo is smart. While watching half way (even it’s working offline), they would just appear the 72 minute thing..
December 28th, 2009 at 5:47 am
Forget all that junk,
lyke.co.cc
will remove the megavideo timelimit. Works great for me
January 2nd, 2010 at 3:06 am
I have a laptop that has a feature that allows you to “switch” off the internet access until you switched it back on. Is that what you mean by “disconnecting” your modem? Will this reset me ISP? I have a wireless router too. Will that have to be turned off too?
January 3rd, 2010 at 12:56 am
the mega knuckle head needs a punch in his hard drive. I like the Dos attack idea. Good luck to all mega mahackers. enjoyed comments more than the megacrap.
January 5th, 2010 at 2:12 pm
this shit doesnt work… why are u lyeing people????
January 6th, 2010 at 2:24 pm
Revaivel method appeared to work for me. However if you have Vista you will need to go through users and ensure that you are showing hidden folders.
His post is further up the page, check it out.
January 9th, 2010 at 3:45 am
It is also recommended to block cookies from megavideo.
If you are offline and you still have a cookie which contains information how long you’ve whatched.
in firefox go to
- extra
- options
- privacy
- exceptions
Type megavideo.com and press BLOCK
type http://www.megavide.com and press BLOCK
January 9th, 2010 at 7:51 pm
Works with Vista:
1. choose a MegaVideo Movie or Show to watch, Choose Multiple if you like.
2. start the video or videos and pause them once they start to Buffer.
3. wait until Video or Videos reach 100% Buffered.
4. when finished buffering go to File on Your Browser Menu Bar and go down and choose Work Offline.
THEN:
1. go to C: (or your partition you have windows on)
2. choose Users
3. “Your Username”
4. AppsDat or application data (you must be able to see hidden folders)
5. In application data,go to Roaming, then choose Macromedia, then Flashplayer
6. Go into #Shared Objects
7. Click the first map (the name is just random, like 3RBZDL3X) and
8. In there look for the map ” wwwstatic.megavideo.com ”
8. If its not there, check the next map in #Shared Objects
9. Delete that folder
10. go back and play the video
worked for me:)
January 10th, 2010 at 8:30 pm
have seen upload finish downing stream which you think 1
could finish cause stream should be cached , tried using a cache system, work off-line , and or completely DC the net the limit script still runs in browser , am able to see all http requests in and out …..stumped .
January 11th, 2010 at 2:02 pm
…None of it works for me…. why doesn’t anyone just post sign on & passwords?
January 11th, 2010 at 5:06 pm
mega video only loads 72 minutes the reason this sometimes works is because 72 minutes of watching is longer then the 54 minute wait you don’t even have to go offline if you wanna do this thats why if u ever reach the limit and your all anxious and try to reload it you somehow killed 10 minutes in 30 seconds
January 11th, 2010 at 5:10 pm
and this isn’t a hack to watch megavideo its just turning off your internet which is stupid cuz u don’t need to
January 16th, 2010 at 10:58 am
this doesnt work. even when im offline it stops the video and says wait 54 mins
January 22nd, 2010 at 4:13 pm
Try Lyke.co.cc. Works Great
January 23rd, 2010 at 8:13 pm
“Try Lyke.co.cc. Works Great”
No it doesn’t. Instead, you’re just pushing another crap website that doses your machine with spyware and malware.
Get a life.
January 27th, 2010 at 12:42 am
I vote yay for someone to just pay for the damn shit and post the info here. :] Take one for the team, dammit!
January 28th, 2010 at 8:32 pm
What if I had “TWO” computers on the same desk? I watch megavideo with one and then continue with the other one. Does that sound fair?
January 31st, 2010 at 8:30 am
what do you do when you’ve already watched the movie and it says ‘youve watched 72 minutes’
you cant work offline then :/
February 11th, 2010 at 4:55 pm
This did not work for me. I would let it buffer then unplug my ethernet cord (and the airport was off the entire time). I think it goes by how much time you’ve buffered instead of watched.
February 11th, 2010 at 5:53 pm
This does not work anymore. Cleared cookies, went offline, even cut off network connection. I wanted to watch Wayne’s World 2. Now I have to look through a book full of gouged DVD’s! Thanks a fucking lot for not mentioning their patch!!!!!!!!
February 14th, 2010 at 9:05 am
to watch it all , when the first half is finished and it tells u wait 50 minutes or so , just refresh the page , brings it down to 20 min, then refresh and your set to go.
February 15th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
Hi there, I may have a solution.
For me it works to just download the whole episode with orbit and watch the .fly with your favourite player like media player classic. I did not test it with long movies yet though.
Regards, Matt
February 16th, 2010 at 3:16 pm
i have found out that the can see your network and they put the “block” on for all the comuters on the network making it impossible for you to get round it nao D= so none of the shit (bad words =D ) above actully works anymore SORRY TO BE TE BRINGER OF BAD NEWS, but as already been sugested……………… ” I vote yay for someone to just pay for the damn shit and post the info here. :] Take one for the team, dammit! “
March 8th, 2010 at 8:59 pm
heres an idea.
http://www.sidereel.com
has like hundreds of TV shows, usually with at least 30 different website links for every episode.
find one thats not megavideo and quit complaining!
March 10th, 2010 at 4:57 pm
I got the solution Right Now go and find Illimitux is an app of Firefox.
The only thing you need to do is:
1. Download Illimitux
2. Go to MegaVideo check the video you want to see.
3. Scroll Down and you going to see an Illimitux Pop-Up
4. Click on Remove Ilimitation
5. Then going to open in a new tab (the video)
6.(if you want) Wait till the video is completely charged (recommended)
YOUR DONE!
HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL
March 27th, 2010 at 2:54 pm
Thx Revaivel for the help! It Warks!
March 28th, 2010 at 3:37 am
you can also do another tactic with out waiting 4 the vidio 2 buffer…
enjoy it works like a clock.
instead you watch ur 72 minuts then he shows u that you cant keep on watching…you do a very simple process:1. for thouse who have router:
you simply restart ur router, just torn it off and then on and he will atomaticly change ip, choose the time u stoped watching the vidio and enjoy the rest( you can do it unlimitaed times).
2. for thouse who have modem you do a very similar oporation,if you can turn it off if you cant pull the cable out and then put it back in and you will change ip, but i rather turn it off the power and the conect the power once more.
this 2 oporations restart ur ip adress witch means evry time you do that you connect 2 another ip
April 3rd, 2010 at 12:59 am
@michael: illimitux used to to take away the mega video time limit, but it doesn’t work anymore.
April 4th, 2010 at 12:01 am
@Michael
Illimitux is no more working due to megavideo’s fix to it. Megavideo uses a trick or device that they put into every single 1 of their videos. No matter if you try to use the “hack, off-line” trick or illimitux, the video will stop after the period of limited viewing time. For illimitux users, the debug wont work anymore because megavideo updated its software so that when you select debug, the new website it takes you to is an error. Like what mel said, use different websites at the forum, website, blog you use to watch whatever you want to watch.
April 5th, 2010 at 12:37 pm
Thanks for the trick its great and works
take care.
Regards
April 5th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
the ONLY WAY TO get past the BLOCK..IS TO MAKE the time limit smaller!!!
so instead of 50 minutes would you be pleased with waiting 10minutes!!
COS I HAVE LOOKED AT VERY EVERY SITE, i have downloaed add ons, and uploaded links to other sites that claim they can remove the block
AND NONE I MEAN NONE OF THEM WORK!!!!!!
the only thing that works!!…………when i say works it reduces the time from 50 minutes to something like 10minutes
and that is HOTSPOT SHIELD…..download the prog and it will resign u a new i,p adress………
THYS ALWAYS WORKKS!!……..
April 10th, 2010 at 12:10 pm
to bypass the Megavideo time limit use
http://videourls.com the only one that works at this moment!
(also you can watch videos hosted on Megaupload directly in streaming without any kind of limitation)
April 17th, 2010 at 4:18 am
Okay fuck all this THE best way is to download freecorders demo flv streamer or any other softwear that can take the FLV File from just buffering then not only can u watch it but u can convert it an burn or put it on a usb n into ur ps3 n watch it on ur tv ( myself personally i like watch it dercetly on my tv threw the ps3 so i bought the 3month pruiem hey it cheaper the cable it offers more n u dnt have to pay monthly.)
July 18th, 2010 at 4:15 am
There are a few solutions to try over at http://www.inturpo.com on theer forum there,
i tried em they worked for me no problems
and they have new movies and tv shows to watch there aswel
July 20th, 2010 at 8:41 pm
this is the best & smart way to skip megavideo time limit
works only with chrome browser
https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/phlpjnmkcepflfoglccifhajagahaglm
July 26th, 2010 at 9:36 pm
u cant do really anything about thet but i like u all trying to do something thets the real thing … hope u have a nice life everyone
August 6th, 2010 at 4:41 pm
what i do is, watch it for those 72 minutes or a bit less. Goes to the corner, dissconnect from the internet. Reconnects, reload the movie. press play jump to where i was. Thats not so hard.
