April 1
“Damages” finishes its second season at 10 P.M. on FX. I have no idea how things will somehow work out between Patty and Ellen? Do you?
“Life on Mars” comes to a sudden and abrupt end at 10 P.M. on ABC. Word is that Sam Tyler’s final fate is different from the original version, so it’ll be interesting to see how.
April 2
“ER” finishes its epic run with a retrospective at 8 P.M. and a two hour finale at 9 P.M.
Another long-lived show reaches a milestone: “CSI” has its 200th episode at 9 P.M. William Friedkin of “The Exorcist” fame directs.
April 5
“In Treatment,” the show that follows a psychiatrist’s sessions with different patients, returns to HBO at 9 P.M. In a blatant attempt to get quoted by a network publicist, I’ll say this: “You’d have to be crazy to miss ‘In Treatment.’”
Showtime has “The Tutors” launch its third season at 9 P.M.
At 11 P.M., HBO has the new Russell Simmons series “Brave New Voices.”
April 6
MTV has “The Hills” at 10 P.M.
April 7
“Rescue Me” comes on at 10 P.M. on FX
April 8
ABC premieres “The Unusuals” at 10 P.M.
April 9
NBC features Amy Poehler in “Parks & Recreation” at 8:30 P.M.
At 10 P.M., the Peacock has the pilot for “Southland.”
At 10 P.M., CBS has “Harper’s Island.”
April 10
“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” has its second season finale at 8 P.M. Hopefully, it’s not also the series finale.
April 19
FOX has “Sit Down, Shut Up,” a new animated series, at 8:30 P.M.
At 9 P.M., “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” begins a new season on USA.
At 10 P.M., “In Plain Sight” returns for more witness-protection related hilarity and action.
April 27
NBC has season finales for “Chuck” and “Heroes” at 8 and 9 P.M. respectively.
April 30
ABC has the season finale of “Private Practice” at 10 P.M.
